About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our R&D team and contribute to the development of next-generation wireless systems.

In this role, you will be involved in the design and development of advanced wireless MESH solutions for Mobilicom products, as well as cybersecurity capabilities for Mobilicom’s wireless platforms, with a growing focus on integrating capcabilities developed using LLM’s  into our products.

This is a hands-on position that combines embedded software development, networking,  and AI-oriented innovation.

Reports to: SW team leader in Israel.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop advanced wireless MESH communication systems
  • Develop high-performance embedded software in C/C++ on Linux-based platforms
  • Integrate software within end-to-end systems (HW + SW + Cyber)
  • Take part in AI LLM -driven feature development and integration (optimization, automation, data analysis)
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver robust, real-world deployed solutions

 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Embedded Software Development
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++
  • Experience with Linux (kernel and/or user-space)
  • Background in algorithm development
  • Experience with AI LLM – Claude Code
  • B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Computer Engineering or related field
  • Strong system – level understanding and problem – solving skills
  • Prior knowledge/implementation of WiFi MAC/System

Advantages
