About the Role

Mobilicom is seeking an experienced and hands-on technical leader to manage the company’s customer technical activities related to the deployment and integration of its solutions for drones, robotics and autonomous platforms.

The role combines technical leadership and team management with hands-on involvement in customer-facing technical activities including system integration, field trials, deployments, ongoing technical support for customers and partners, and pre-sale technical support activities.
The role also encourages the use of modern tools, including AI, to improve technical workflows, analysis and team productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Customer Success / Technical Support team
  • Oversee technical engagement with customers throughout the lifecycle, including deployments, integration activities, ongoing technical support, and pre-sale technical discussions
  • Lead field trials, demonstrations and technical evaluations
  • Support technical discussions and evaluations with potential customers
  • Support system integration and technical validation activities with customers and partners
  • Support RFI / RFP responses, technical proposals, and customer-facing technical activities during the sales process
  • Provide OS3 support as part of the ongoing technical responsibility of the team
  • Work closely with R&D, QA, Sales and Operations to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain strong technical relationships with global customers and system integrators
  • Provide hands-on technical troubleshooting and technical leadership when required
  • Promote the use of modern tools and AI technologies to improve workflows and team productivity

Requirements

  • Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Communications Engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience in RF, wireless communications and networking – mandatory
  • Experience with system integration, field installations and technical deployments
  • Experience working with global customers (US, Europe and Israel)
  • Experience in technical customer-facing roles such as technical support, professional services, field applications or similar roles
  • Domain knowledge in drones, robotics and autonomous systems – major advantage
  • Experience in the drone / UAV industry – major advantage
  • Background and experience in pre-sale / technical pre-sale support – advantage
  • Experience managing and leading technical teams
  • Hands-on experience with test and lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers and similar tools – advantage
  • Drone pilot license / certified UAV operator – advantage
  • Ability to work in a hands-on startup environment
  • AI-savvy with the ability to leverage modern AI tools to improve productivity, technical analysis and operational efficiency
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Willingness for occasional international travel
  • Position is based at Mobilicom’s offices in Shoham
  • Experience with RFI / RFP submission – advantage
