Technical Project Manager – Customer-Driven Integration & Subcontractor Management

We’re seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead short-cycle, mission-focused integration projects for our UAV and defense customers.
This role is designed for a hands-on professional with strong experience in unmanned aerial systems, loitering munitions, and related technologies, who can deliver targeted technical solutions quickly and effectively.
You will manage multiple short-duration projects in parallel, often involving subcontractor coordination to execute hardware, software, mechanical, and RF integration tasks with minimal reliance on core R&D.
- Lead and deliver customer-driven, mission-specific projects from scoping to final acceptance.
- Manage multiple short-duration projects simultaneously, ensuring fast turnaround and high-quality execution.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and suppliers to meet project deliverables, timelines, and quality standards.
- Perform and oversee system-level integrations involving RF communication modules, UAV platforms, payloads, and control systems.
- Act as the primary technical contact for assigned customers, providing clear communication, managing expectations, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Conduct on-site meetings, integration sessions, and acceptance testing when required.
- 3–5 years of deep, hands-on engineering experience in RF communications, networking, electronics, and multidisciplinary system integration (including mechanical aspects).
- Proven practical experience with UAV systems – mandatory. Experience with loitering munitions or other mission-critical UAV platforms – strong advantage.
- Broad technical background enabling understanding, troubleshooting, and guiding system development across multiple engineering domains.
- Hands-on mindset – must. Ability to dive into technical details, perform practical system checks, and work closely with engineering teams.
- Experience leading development-oriented projects and transitioning into customer-facing, delivery-oriented roles – strong advantage.
- Ability to independently manage end-to-end project execution: from requirement gathering, through system integration and subcontractor coordination, to deployment at customer sites.
- Demonstrated skill in managing subcontractors and external partners to drive timely, high-quality outcomes.
- Proven ability to deliver fast-paced, short-cycle, mission-focused technical projects, including planning, risk management, and hands-on validation.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-oriented deliverables.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities, with capacity to manage multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.
- Degree in Electrical/Electronics or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, solid practical engineering background.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Based in Mobilicom’s Shoham office, with occasional domestic and limited international travel.
