Role Overview:

Mobilicom provides cybersecure and robust end-to-end solutions for drones and robotics. We are looking for a Cybersecurity BD & Sales Professional to join our team.

In this role, you will be required to source new customers and business contacts, drive sales, and maintain strong customer relations.
To ensure success as a Cybersecurity BD & Sales Professional, you should have a strong knowledge of cyber products, a passion for business development and sales, and the ability to travel within the USA.
The position is retainer-based with additional success fee as a freelancer. 50% position for the first 6 months and then an option for capacity increase.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Expand, Grow and Manage Mobilicom’s USA Cybersecurity Sales.
  • Carry out an in-depth Market Analysis of Defense & Commercial. Research, strategize, plan and execute for new product/market penetration.
  • Prepare and present a detailed  Go-to-Market Plan for USA .
  • Implement and execute the plan towards rapid Growth in the USA.
  • Sourcing potential new customers.
  • Maintaining regular contact with existing and potential customers.
  • Traveling to the customer’s location in the USA.
  • Composing tender documents and customer proposals.
  • Generating purchase orders and sales receipts.
  • Maintaining strong customer relations.
  • Meeting sales targets.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 10 years of cybersecurity sales experience, closing high growth B2B contracts in USA
  • Ability to steer technical and commercial discussions, accentuating Mobilicom’s unique value proposition.
  • Proven experience fostering and maintaining relationships with strategic customers, discussing products, strategies, and market dynamics.
  • Experience working with USA defense and/or drone companies – advantage
  • BSc in SW / Electrical-Engineering and MBA degree – advantage
  • Business experience with top-tier cyber companies (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco, etc.)  – advantage
  • Experience in building ecosystem partnership
  • OT cyber security experience – advantage.
  • Technical cyber security experience – advantage.
